To help us improve on our lip syncing skills , we were set a group task in lesson to film and edit a short clip to the song ' Dont go breaking my heart' by Elton John and Kiki Dee.
Things i have learnt and improved on whilst doing this task;
- after we get through the awkward stage of singing out loud to get the lip syncing look more realistic, i got the hang of it after the 2nd attempt with great team work.
- our editing skills improved drastically in the process , i knew first to line up each different shot scene with the music in lip sync before so then editing each scene would be easier to edit.
- Also when it came to filming , i have learnt the more different camera angles the more interesting and entertaining the music video can
- This exercise has really improved my ability to use final cut express.
